Updated - Most finishes and streakers

You may not be interested but I finally got around to doing a full update on the “streak and most finishes” spreadsheet for the Mt Washington road race.  I had started the spreadsheet many years back basing it on streakers and then updated for everyone I found who had 20 or more finishes.  I’ve updated it to capture everyone who has finished the race 15 or more times.  This involves going through the listing of nearly 40,000 individual results and matching up names.  There could be a few missed since some use various forms of their name (the worst are the ones like “Bob” & “Robert” or “Bill” & “William” that don’t sort out together).   Anyway, the attached sheet has the newly discovered streakers or most finisher highlighted in blue.

Added 7 streakers (none in the top 25)

Added 71 with 15 or more finishes (6 had 20 or more), the top addition comes in at 43rd on the most finishes list.

There are now 173 people listed with 15 or more finishes.

I calculated that there are 19,562 different finishers (again this is subject to misspelling of names and people not using the same first name) of the race with 39,721 total results.

So, with 19,562 finishers you are in the top .88% if you ran 15 or more of the races.

Additional note for the “300 mile club” – three gained entry this year:

41        William Morse             M         72

41        Everett McBride          M         68

41        Ronald Paquette         M         82

Two more would make the distance if they finish next year:

40        Curt     Hirsch              M         74

40        Dean   Rasmussen     M         75

I enjoy working with the stats although as I near 40,000 records it can be a bit unwieldy updating a couple of the all-time spreadsheets.  Link to all of the spreadsheets are below.
